Jacky is about to have A Day and I'm having a hard time writing it. I'm really not good at making my characters suffer, even if there's reason for it, and there's a bright, happy light at the end of the tunnel. 😅

And that's the hardest chapter of the final Jacky book done! Whew. That was rough. I'm gonna go sit in the corner and shake for a while. 😅

If I'm significantly short of my draft's target word count, that means I can go back and add more spicy scenes, right? >_> <_< I'ma do it.

In case you're wondering about how pirating affects authors in terms of numbers... My books were pirated approx. 12,000+ times. That's over 35,000+ lost in royalties. The sad part is I'm just one of many authors this is happening to. Please stop stealing our hard work.

I love how contradictory humans can be. I'm super sad to be finishing up the Jacky series, because she's my favorite and I'm not ready to say goodbye. But at the same time, I'm wildly excited to be done with her series so I can focus on something new. 😅

TFW you're skimming through the draft you just finished to double check you hit all the plot points, and come across a particularly neat turn of phrase. I'm having one of those "Wow, I wrote that? How? That's so good!" moments. It'll last until I come across a horrific typo.😂
