I get a lot of messages with questions about mummification so I wanted to do a series of posts about them. Q: How long have you been doing mummification? A: almost 20 years. I couldn’t even tell you how many hours of my life I’ve spent wrapped or wrapping someone.

Q: How long does it take to wrap someone up? A: 30-60 mins. To many people into mummification the process of getting wrapped up is a huge turn on. If you think it takes too long it might not be something you’re really into. And that’s ok. I love slowly disappearing into nothing

Q: What’s the longest you’ve gone? A: As a sub I’ve gone 14 hours mummified. I prefer longer sessions. But I’d say the average mummification is only like 2-4 hours. I’m curious what other people’s records are

Q: How do you deal with the bathroom? A: I typically stop drinking fluids a few hours before a scene. I also eat really really light on days before play. I have gotten into cath play too which is super fun-although not for everyone.

Q: So you’re only into mummification? A: I get into tons. My biggest kink is submission and obeying someone. Currently doing locktober. Love Pain. Breathplay. I just made this page about mummification as it’s a huge kink of mine Also I’m mostly sub. I only Dom out of service

Q: How do you deal with anxiety while wrapped? A: I have for sure panicked-especially in longer sessions. I try to have a lot of positive self talk and meditate. Subbing is also best when I completely let go of my ego and just let the Dom do what they want to me. No thoughts.

Q: Does anything go under the tape? A: Plastic wrap typically. Though I’ve done the tape directly on skin several times (such as this photo). You sweat a lot so it doesn’t feel bad coming off. Sometimes when you’re horny you try some stuff. Right?

Q: Where do you get the tape? A: All different places. Amazon. Uline. I’ve ordered cases before from companies. For duct tape I’m loyal to Nashua brand. If anyone has any tape suggestions feel free to let me know. My favorites are pvc/vinyl and duct tape.
