4HKEB have learnt about the function of different teeth and why it is important to look after our teeth in Science. We set up an experiment using eggs and different liquids to observe the effect each liquid has on enamel. We can't wait to see what happens.

What a lovely way to spend a Friday in Year 2! We are enjoying a range of activities to celebrate Diversity week, we are loving all the wonderful cultural dress.

What an amazing sports day we had yesterday in Year 2! All learners showcased our school values and put 100% effort in to every activity. Well done to the learners who came 1st, 2nd and 3rd combined across the cohort. We enjoyed celebrating everyone's amazing achievements! 🎖️

This morning in Year 2, we have been recapping adding 2 two-digit numbers together using our tens and ones to help us! We had some amazing values shining through, especially responsibility! Go 2RI!

3HBHS had a chicktastic time with our fluffy friends.

In Year 1 English we're looking at instructions. We've become detectives and are looking to discover what the features are of instructions! 🕵🏼‍♀️🔍

Over the last few weeks, 4HKEB have been learning how to play the recorder. We put together everything NMPAT taught us and performed to some of our parents/carers yesterday 🪈 A huge thank you to our recorder teacher for the amazing sessions!

Today Year 1 had a visit from Lou who is from a local Synagogue. We learnt all about Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur and we even got to taste honey and apples which symbolise having a 'sweet new year' ☺️

Our Eco Committee have been busy recently after receiving 4 incredible self watering planters! We've planted our herbs, strawberries and tomatoes and we're ready to see them grow!🌻🍓🍅

3NP have enjoyed a scavenger style guided reading session this morning where we explored the final chapters of 'The Talking Bird.'

This morning, 2RI have finished our Geography topic of 'What is it like to live by the coast?' by exploring the British town of Weymouth and all of the physical and human features there. We explored Google earth to see what Weymouth looks like, before creating our own posters!

Today in Year 2, we completed our first e-safety session of the year. We had a brilliant discussion about someone's identity online and we even played a game to match people with their perfect avatar. We can't wait for next week! 😁😺

We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the Eco-Schools England Green Flag Award 2025! Our Eco Leaders along with learners and staff worked incredibly hard to achieve this accreditation and we are very proud of their continued commitment. 🌳

Year 2 rocked out for TTRS day on Monday completing a variety of activities like orienteering, a scavenger hunt, TTRS iPad practise, and a good old air guitar battle too 🎸👨‍🎤👩‍🎤🤘🤘🤘

'Let the wild rumpus begin! Said Max' Today in Year 1, we showed off our acting skills for the story 'Where the Wild Things Are' story. We definitely have some budding actors in our midst. 🎬👹🧌

In PSHE, we're learning about 'Being Me in My 🌎'. Today we've been looking at being we all belong and are special in our classroom. When we work as a team with our class we can do some great learning. We then looked at what does good learning look like when we're together. 🥰

1SR successfully logged into their Purple Mash accounts today and created their very own avatars. We also recalled what a mouse is and how to use it.🖱️ We think they did a fantastic job! 😁🖥️

We have the sweetest leather in 1SR spreading one of our school values: kindness. He spent a LONG time at home drawing love hearts on conkers for learners to squeeze it if they ever miss someone at home. What a great example of how a simple act can spread so much kindness! 🥰

Thank you to our whole school community for all of your generous donations towards Far Cotton Food Aid in aid of Harvest week. These donations will go a long way in supporting our local community.

In Year 1 Geography today, we got learners to practise their orienteering skills using their map to find different features on the KS1 playground. They did a fantastic job and were able to find almost all of them! Well done to our little explorers 👏🏼🗺️
