Was able to have a great port visit today with the Port of Shelton. Lots to chat about with their many business operations, airport, and rail access!

Beautiful day to visit the Port of Hoodsport! Was able to attend their commission meeting and chat about their public access beachfront and 6 slip dock on the Hood Canal.

The Port of Hoodsport also recently had a grand reopening of their new disc golf course and trail park after significant clean up! Scott, the maintenance supervisor showing off all their hard work and partnership with the local public library for their 0.5 mile StoryTrail loop!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet with the talented environmental staff at the Port of Seattle and take a tour of the Duwamish River Community Hub and the People’s Park. This park is a massive shoreline and habitat clean up of an old industrial site. Thanks for having me!☀️
