As someone who works every day with both Chinese Communists and American Patriots, the only thing I can point out as a common truth or shared belief is that it's virtually impossible to change anyone's mind when they believe in only absolutes in terms of truths and rights/wrongs.

I guess the question is, is it ok to agree that there are inhumane and immoral things occurring in other parts of the world and that we have a role in trying to prevent those from happening, but that protests may not be the best way to stop it or intervene? Isolationism.

Political leaders of both parties oppose the college protests so it’s an age-based diff that crosses party lines compared to J6 perception which falls, almost exclusively, along party lines.
