Final: Panas 69, Kings Park 51 in NYSPHSAA Class A Semifinal in Troy. This game was 2-0 until about 5:30 left in 1Q. It was never a game after that. Cadence Nicholas scored 39 and grabbed 15 rebounds. Sofia Tavarez added 20 points

Congrats to our Grady Leonard, as well as 2 other Lakeland Panas Athletics athletes- Bobby Mayclim and Cadence Nicholas- on being honored at the Con Ed award dinner for their academic/athletic achievements in the 2023-2024 school year. Awesome to have 3 recipients come from Lakeland Schools

Two-time Section 1 champ Panas opened the season with a 57-29 win over Nyack. Cadence Nicholas had 20 points. Katie Hoffman had 13 and Sofia Tavarez added 12 in the win. Madison Aikens led Nyack with 11. Panas Sports

In the final of the Hen Hud Tournament, Panas beat Hen Hud 60-39. Sofia Tavarez led Panas with 28 points and Cadence Nicholas dropped 22 points. Kaitlyn Raguso led Hen Hud with 11 points. Kayla McCarthy from Hen Hud and Katie Hofmann of Panas All Tourney. Tavarez MVP.

Panas girls improved to 3-0, defeating Nanuet 48-17. Cadence Nicholas had a game-high 21 points and Sofia Tavarez added 17 points. Ciara O’Sullivan led Nanuet with 8 points.
