Great to be back in Cuenca almost 25 years after my first arrival as an innocent MSc student, and to reconnect with so many first-hour (and more recent!) friends and colleagues.

Travelling overland between our Deplete and Retreat field sites from Cusco and La Paz, with beautiful vistas of Lake Titicaca that is nevertheless showing worryingly low water levels as a result of the continuing #drought.
