On Wednesday 15th July 2020 is World Youth Skills Day. The day is set aside by the United Nations to highlight the skills gap keeping millions of young people out of work and to advocate for more and better training and education opportunities. WorldSkills @Dr_Monari

This year's theme is "Skills For Resilient Youth in the Era of Covid-19 and beyond" The Ministry of Education, TVET Authority, UNESCO, and the stakeholders in the TVET sector will celebrate this day by showcasing various skills by Kenyan youth through photos and videos.

There will also be interactive sessions on local TV channels, social media platforms, and virtual meetings where various issues on youth and skills will be discussed.
