4 Yew had great fun learning about negative numbers today using chalk on the playground. Some number lines mysteriously appeared on the playground after lunch! They had to go and solve the missing numbers before challenging each other with some questions.

A fantastic time was had by all on Saturday. The PTA worked their Christmas socks off to put together the event, which was supported by huge numbers of pupils and parents. Over £5000 was raised. Thanks to all staff and parents who made the family event so successful!

4 Yew had a special visitor today in the form of Gerald the giant millipede. What a joy it was to see such an unusual creature in the classroom. Thank you to the child who bought in their peculiar pet to share with the class.

💛💙 Friends since birth, these 2 are about to embark on their last term at primary - something I didn't think would happen. Credit where it's due - Woodlands Primary staff have been incredible these past 3 months and the work they have put in to make tomorrow happen is phenomenal!
