Y13 biologists are practising some genetic engineering techniques. They have been transforming E.coli with a specialised 'pGlo' plasmid. If they are successful, then they will be able to culture the bacteria on agar plates containing ampicillin.

West Yorkshire Champions🏆

The U13 girls won 4/4 games in the West Yorkshire Finals to become champs👏

They will now compete in the full county finals at Headingley😀

Yesterday, we welcomed Sergeant Tom Regan from the West Yorkshire Police Education programme to observe our Head of PSCHE, Mrs. Vernon, delivering the resources created by Pol-Ed. Our work with the police so far has been beneficial and is helping to inspire a new generation.
