My latest op-ed for The Stage is about the need to empower more creatives to self-produce, rather than relying on independent producers to carry the burden. But as well as an attempt to talk myself out of a job, it’s a paean to the likes of my brilliant colleague David Doyle.

Really great article. Def think self prod is the way to go. I’m not daunted by spread sheets. More, as an emerging writer with little to no theatre network, pulling together a creative team, particularly a director. Any thoughts on where to start with that Ellie? Or anyone?!
