Important. Danish tradeunion have made the first collective agreement with a major food-delivery platform company, Just Eat, securing workers decent salary, rights to sick and maternity leave, pension, right to strike etc. 👊🏼❤️

JustEat has signed an agreement with the Danish union 3F to cover their 600 food delivery drivers. The pay is set to $21/hr, flexible hours from 8-37h per week, +50-100% overtime pay, pension, sick leave, parental leave, vacation, the works 😍 politiken.dk/ibyen/art80801…

Now that @JustEatGroup has taken this monumental step in Denmark, they must do it everywhere. And the likes of Wolt damn well better follow suit too.

Very positive developments here. There is no reason why these sorts of agreements can’t be the industry standard - other than inhumane policies of management and the platform oligarchs of course!
