Johnson bow saying 'the guidance' was only guidance. Yet the rest of us lived by them. We couldn't say goodbye, we couldn't hold their hands, we couldn't hold one another. He has just spat in the face of all of us who sacrificed so much. #PrivilegesCommittee

According to #Johnson at the #PrivilegesCommittee it was 'necessary' to hold gatherings when people left their No10 jobs. And yet forbidden to meet when dying relatives were leaving this earth. There are no words for the self-justifying crap he is spouting.

Really, Mark? I'm an NHS palliative care doctor who saw more death & dying during Covid than I will see in my whole career. It was unspeakably horrific, it gave me PTSD, it was death & grief on an industrial scale. Boris Johnson's lies make me sick. Frontline enough for you?
