The Homeowner Protection Program (HOPP) helps thousands of families access housing counseling & legal services to prevent foreclosure and displacement for FREE. Right now, HOPP has no funding. Governor Kathy Hochul — HOPP funding must be restored in the Executive Budget!

HOPP is the only resource supporting low-income & working-class homeowners in foreclosure prevention and for FREE. Without this line of defense, families lose homes. Governor Kathy Hochul — Fund HOPP in a 30-day amendment & protect NYS homeowners!

Over 275,000 families are at risk of losing their homes in New York State. Statewide, 43% of clients served by HOPP are homeowners of color. And in NYC it’s 75%. Homeownership must be preserved especially for Black and Brown families. We must fully fund HOPP to $40M! #FundHOPP
