Our students are having a busy & productive semester! They are out in schools teaching lessons, participating in research labs, meeting with high schoolers to tell them about opportunities at WKU (like the Talley Family Counseling Center!), and working hard at their campus jobs.

Psi Chi and the Psychology Club hosted a Careers in Psychology Panel, show the vast career and education opportunities within the field. The panel featured Dr. Farley Norman, Dr. Sharon Blevins, Dr. Dennis Bunton, Lee Fowlkes, and Ashley East. Psi Chi's next event in April 2.

Meet Caitlin Hinds, a Psych & Crim major from Lexington! Drawn to WKU’s welcoming campus & hands-on opportunities, Caitlin found her passion through internships, study abroad, & leadership roles in organizations like Alpha Gamma Delta and the CEBS Ambassador Program.

From writing a thesis on juvenile offenders to interning with the KY Dept. of Juvenile Justice, she’s preparing to make a real impact in youth rehabilitation.

🎓 Meet Shawn Kayley Sullivan, a Psychology major from Burlington, KY! From a childhood dream to a reality, Shawn found her place at WKU—becoming a CEBS Ambassador and conducting research in the PALM Lab.

Meet Alyssa Bozeman, Psychology grad from Marion, KY! From research to internships to leading as a CEBS Ambassador, she’s done it all. Next up: a master’s in counseling at WKU and a role at the BRACAC!

Meet Jasmine Dobbins, a Psychology major from Memphis, TN! A transfer student who found her place at a WKU satellite campus, Jasmine thrived thanks to strong support from professors and a close-knit community. Her goal? To help kids and families build better, brighter futures.
