Congrats Josh Shields (graduate student at Astronomy at MSU) for publishing iopscience.iop.org/article/10.384… In this #researchpaper, he shows that most promising #Supernova Ia progenitor scenario cannot explain a nearby Ia #remnant. The search for the origin of Supernovae Ia continues!🔭

A great study to think about researchers being honorably added to the paper without actually doing anything. Likely a problem in astrophysics as well. We should seriously think about requiring Contributor Role Taxonomy (which includes funding) for authors of papers in our field!

Great studies by Isabelle Bouton and team showing that adding spin to an abstract will make it more likely for readers to be interested in the study and to favorably view its outcome. Are we funding good stories over good science? focusoptekst.nl/wp-content/upl… #PRC9

Thanks a lot to Elias Aydi for the amazing and professional work. I just spoke - all the hard work from lighting, recording, composition, and editing was done by him 👏
