I did Frenchman/Sunrise Mountain on Sunday by myself, from the LDS Temple side. This hike is on loose limestone most of the way with a lot of trash. The parking lot was barricaded off, probably because of numerous vehicle break-ins.

Today I climbed Hamblin Peak, earning my 43rd card, the 3 of diamonds. That is a section of Lake Mead behind me I just kayaked a week ago.

I'm proud to say I climbed Mescalito Peak today, via the challenging "direct route." This earned me my 44th card -- the 9 of diamonds.

I'm proud to say I did Windy Peak by myself on Sunday. I attempted to lead this trip on Feb. 5, but took a wrong turn, and we ended up getting cliffed-out and had to turn back. Since, then I've felt terrible about it and wanted to return to the scene to do it properly.
