Great thread from Rebecca Florisson delving into today's release in detail. It's concerning that the UK remains an international outlier with participation rates still below pre-pandemic levels.

I founded the WiTT Forum in 2021 to meet other women in policy & encourage more women into think tanks. Now, with the Forum over 100 members strong, I'm delighted to stand down as Chair & hand WiTT over to two excellent new Co-Chairs, Ellen Pasternack and florence! 1/3

I'm so grateful for the support WiTT Forum has received while I've been Chair, from think tanks including Resolution Foundation, Bright Blue, Demos, Institute for Government & Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, all of whom have provided space, wine & crisps for many events! 2/3

Since 2021, WiTT Forum has also benefitted from members & non-members giving up their time to speak at & lead events, including Efua Poku-Amanfo, Emily Redding, Madeline Grant, Lucia Asanache, Sam & others. Can't wait to see what Florence & Ellen have planned! 3/3

A huge thank you to Phoebe Arslanagić-Little for all of her work founding and running Women in Think Tanks, it's such a fantastic group - if you haven't already do join (!)

🍸 WiTT SOCIAL 🍸 Our next members’ event will be a drinks evening on the 19th of September, kindly hosted by TaxPayers' Alliance. All women in think tanks warmly invited- email [email protected] to sign up!

🍷The Women in Think Tanks Forum's back to school drinks event is being held on the 19th September 📩All women working in think tanks are invited- RSVP at [email protected]
