Year 2 have really been enjoying our world of wildlife (WOW) week! We have been learning about amphibians, making clay frogs, writing an adventure story about a frog and today we made paper mache frogs. What a week so far!

Today in Year 2 we used different paper folding and cutting techniques to create some beach scenes in art. This links with our geography topics on coasts.

Year 4 have arrived at Whitemoor lakes safe and sound. We’ve had lunch and now enjoying our first adventure.

Year 4 have had a fantastic first day at Whitemoor Lakes finished off with a lovely night walk around the lake. We are now in bed ready for another fun filled day tomorrow!

Night line fun!

News from Whitemoor lakes: We have been so busy, we have hardly caught our breath! Three activities down and two to go. Abseiling, gladiator, fencing, code cracking, traverse, night line and compass reading. We have a campfire later to enjoy!

Fencing fun and now we're taking on the 'Gladiator'.

The Whitemoor lakes campfire was excellent. All the children will be singing the ‘petunia song’ for quite a while! It’s bedtime now and 🤞for some sleep as we have all had a very busy day!

We are incredibly proud of the children for the bravery and determination they have shown today!
