The Pub thing, yeah we know you want it open! Show me 2 more builders/ carpenters/ shopfitters that will actually quote for the job so I can stop wasting my time and money on failed promises, the bloody grant fund will be used up by the time I gather all the required quotes!

Still getting quotes btw, at some point I’ll have more than 1 construction quote. Who knew this was going to waste my time for over 9 months! Could have been cracking on and moving towards being open!

A tiny update just to tell you it looks like the really promising builder that could have given us our final complete quote looks like he’s just ****** us off, time wasted since February! I do ask all these people if it’s not for them to tell me now. Looking at a ‘Plan B’ now.

More tiles uncovered this afternoon. We need another good solid day at it and we’ll have all the old shop boarding down. Old floor coverings to rip up after that, then rip out on the first floor, then get a Skip.
