Nature preschool is one of the coolest opportunities my kid has ever had.

Every single mom group ever: New mom: “any tips for getting my newborn to sleep in a bassinet? Bedsharing is not an option.” Mom 2: “why not?” Mom 3: “it’s your fault your baby won’t sleep because you vaccinated them” Mom 4: “get used to it, I haven’t slept in 12 years”

tired sunflower mama and then there’s a handful of us normal moms who are there because we thought it might be a good community watching them argue

tired sunflower mama Mom 5: “just wait! Newborn sleep is easy compared to toddler sleep!” Mom 6: “have you tried bedsharing?” Mom 7: “we just put our baby in the bassinet at bedtime and she fells asleep. She sleeps 12 hours straight.”

Not a single person from my family said happy birthday to T yesterday.

Well that was a punch to the gut this morning. We lost him two weeks later.

Me watching embroidery/resin/any other craft videos on Facebook: “that looks easy, you could do that” My brain, wallet, and hands: “please don’t”

In the process of changing my blood pressure meds and this morning it was 154/104 so it’s safe to say we’ll need to increase that a smidge 🫣
