This is legitimately insane. These are not points or positions of discussion but simply extreme legislation. Your kids affect my kids. My kids affect your kids. In group settings, it’s imperative that we must be responsible together. #KsLeg #PublicHealth

Women’s college basketball is on the ⬆️. Guess all the money the women’s players are being paid via #NIL deals hasn’t turned people off.😉

Counselor Winter is using all his lawyer-ly training and Midwestern good manners not to go screaming like a banshee at the ignorant fussbudgets heaping piles of guano at the #NIL Congressional hearing. He's also a darn fine follow on the subject and on athletes' rights.

Although I don't always agree with Mit Winter's take on NIL matters, I find his insight, analysis and depth of knowledge invaluable. I urge everyone who has an interest in the NIL arena to follow him and learn. He's terrific.

I recently joined Paul Finebaum to discuss the Dartmouth men’s basketball team’s vote to unionize, college athletes as employees, and the current world of #NIL. There has been a lot of change in college athletics the past few years. And more is on the way.

The $1M that NiJaree Canady was paid to play 🥎 at Texas Tech was money well spent. The value the university will receive from the softball team’s performance in the Women’s College World Series, and the related media coverage, will probably exceed that $1M by many multiples.

I assume this decision is at least partially driven by a desire to be paid for playing college basketball for at least one year. The Ivy League didn’t opt to the House settlement so it can’t pay players. Gets a Princeton degree and then will get paid to play at another school.

Won the Nike National Championship in Chicago yesterday. Got back to KC after midnight. And who’s in the gym this morning? Harper Winter. Played nearly every minute, battled double teams, face guards and constant physicality. Proud of you, Harp. #NoDaysOff #MOKANBuilt
