The proudest and happiest years of my life. Teaching students like these wonderful girls, watching them grow into confident, well-rounded individuals over the last 10 years, has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I’ll miss my MCS PEA family very much! Gwent Music

So today is my last ever Theory Club at mcs music MCS PEA and my last ever Monmouth Primary Schools Cluster Orchestra. The end of an era! 😭 🎵 Gwent Music

And just like that, in the blink of an eye, 19 years with Gwent Music comes to an end. So many memories - 37 different schools, endless concerts and assemblies, music centre, exams, teaching online through Covid 19… But most importantly, such joy and love for music. 💔🎵

Also just want to thank the students, parents and staff at mcs music Llandogo Primary School Trellech Primary Sch Kymin View Cross Ash Primary Raglan CiW VC Primary and KHS Performing Arts for all my presents and cards. I’ve been so spoiled and feel very lucky. ♥️🎵

Show 103, done! The most *fabulous* week on Sister Act with Thornbury Musical Theatre. I love this show - it was already in my top 5 but it’s cemented its place there now! A super talented cast and just the lushest band. Such a fun week and some seriously incredible music making!

A fab week on Tredegar Operatic’s production of “The Sound of Music”. I got a little teary when they sang “My heart will be blessed with the sound of music” thinking of all the cuts that are happening. My thoughts go out to my colleagues and friends at Cardiff University School of Music

And now onto the next challenge, and to say I’m excited about this is an understatement… Frozen at Rougemont School in 2 weeks time. It’s going to be *incredible*…

It’s a beautiful day at BGS Music Department today, and woodwind lessons have started again for what promises to be a very busy and exciting half term! 🎷🎵
