Girls team won their 4th meet of the season. 🏊‍♀️

Girls team dominated the scoreboard in a 12 team meet at Campus. It was Winfield’s 5th team victory. 5 New STATE Consideration times were made by Ella Kohpay (200 Free), Mikayley Clock (100 Fly & 500 Free), Alara Wilson (100 Free), Addisyn Spengler (500 Free). Way to go Vikings!

Final team practice of the ‘24 season before tomorrow’s AVCTL championship meet. This is an incredible team of young ladies who have worked hard, and had a remarkably successful season!

2024 AVCTL Div III-IV Champions for the 2nd year in a row. The team had a fantastic final meet. They swam 34 PRs, earned 21 medals, achieved 23 STATE Qualifying or Considerations times, and WON by 181 points. This year these girls WON 7 meets, and finished 2nd in 3 meets.👏👏

Today, Winfield Girls swam 16 entries in the Day 1 Preliminaries of the 5A-1A State meet. 14 met or exceeded the incoming seeding. 11 were seasonal best times. 12 advanced to the consolation or championship finals tomorrow on Day 2. A REALLY good day for the Vikings!

Any athlete interested in competing in springboard diving in high school should attend this camp! Coach Sam is very knowledgeable and engaging and would be great to learn from!

The first ever Winfield High School Summer Swim Clinic was a big success!!! We had almost 70 athletes in attendance all energized and excited for their future in this sport! It is good to be a Viking! The future is so bright! 💙

We had our 2024-2025 season awards banquet this evening! It was great to see so many of the kids together again! We will miss our seniors! Looking forward to seeing a strong group return this coming year to continue to do great things! Go Vikings! 💙

The WHS Swim Team is so proud of our teammate, Robert Meyer! He was chosen to serve as a Page for the U.S. Senate, and had his going away party today! He’ll be in Washington D.C. working on the Senate floor until late January! Viking Athletes do some pretty cool things! 👏🏻💙
