The Road Safety Unit received information that the driver of this vehicle had no license. We acted on this the next day and the information was found to be good. Driver with no entitlement to drive in the UK. Vehicle seized and driver reported.

Careless driving in front of #RPU found the driver of this van (who was on his first day with the company) subject to a vehicle check. DVSA Enforcement confirmed 2x tyre defects, leaking fuel tank and bungee’s holding parts of the engine together.

#ARV spotted this vehicle on Cloned Plates. Vehicle failed to stop and crashed in to a bollard whilst trying to escape. Officers located the fleeing driver. Arrested for Dangerous Driving, Failing to Stop, Possession of Class A and B drugs, and Possession of this Offence Weapon!!

#RPU gingerly pulled this van/trailer ensemble today, RPU and #DVSA checks on the trailer found 1 tyre bald, 2 tyres showing cord, 1 tyre bald and blown out. No brakes, no brake lights or indicators plus an insecure load in the van! Shocking but now safe, court awaits.

This Bulgarian HGV was seen stationary on the Hard Shoulder of the M4. RPU officers went to enquire as to the reason for his presence, only to discover him to be highly intoxicated, providing a roadside reading of 100ųg! Arrested, HGV removed to a safe location.
