The year long lunchtime competition between 5th and 6th years, came to an end today with a tightly contested match. Both teams were highly driven to win today with a lifetime of bragging rights on the line. However, it was the 6th years who came out on top with a late win.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the music concert this evening organised by Ms O'Boyle and Mr Dawson from the boarding house and Ms Heslin from the music department. Our students really enjoyed showcasing their wonderful range of musical talents.

It was lovely to welcome back some of the Class of 2004 who arranged a quick tour of the school at the weekend. It is always interesting to find out what everyone is doing and to show them around and hear their memories.

Producing our own electricity! As part of the Department of Education's second phase of the Schools Photovoltaic Programme, some panels were placed on the school roof yesterday. We are already producing electricity, even today with the steady drizzle!

Pictured are a few highlights from last week's inaugural Form 2 Swap Shop. The event was a roaring success which saw students taking enthusiastic ownership of planning, donating, execution and clean-up and most importantly learn about sustainable fashion.

This morning our staff had a meeting to mark the end of this academic year which was then followed by a fantastic BBQ organised by the Social Committee. Thanks to all of our dedicated staff for all your hard work and commitment this year.

Wilson’s Hospital School Parents’ Council is delighted to announce that it has received funding from the North Midlands Credit Union. This generous support will be used to fund wellbeing activities for students across the school.

I’m so proud to be a Wilsonian. This wonderful, progressive and inclusive school taught me how to be a global citizen when I was a teenager. Wilson’s shaped my worldview - it’s a School for Life. My school days were such an expansive experience.
