Canada Day celebrations City of Burnaby and @thecityofsurrey were a blast today with the band, and my roadie, Ella. Thanks to all the families who joined us today. What a way to kick off summer!

This coming weekend we’ll be in my dad’s hometown Smithers for the Midsummer Festival! We’re leading a short songwriting workshop Saturday morning, then performing Saturday afternoon and the again on Sunday. It’s going to be a beautiful weekend of music, community and sunshine.

We had an amazing time in Smithers! Unfortunately we got very few pictures or videos, but what a fun time. We had a blast and would love to come back anytime! This post also marks a social media holiday for these next 2 weeks. Until then, enjoy your summer and I’ll see ya soon!

Super fun times in Parksville today for the Sandcastle competition! The show was a blast, and a 5 year old kid won a kayak!!! Our next show is on Tuesday in Burnaby at Confederation Park for Summer Stages. Showtime is 11:30am.
