Got to admire how resilient Triston Casas seems to be despite one setback after another. Absolutely committed to his personal process.

This is the kind of wholesome stuff I love reading about. I wanna know about Sonny Gray the person and his family, not just the pitcher and his ratios.

It's an age old adage but it has quite the fit here: "The comeback is always stronger than the setback". Despite everything, Casas still focused on his process.

Andrew Bailey using genuinely my favourite phrase in the universe to describe recent trade acquisition, Jake Bennett: “There’s a ton to dream on there." You definitely have my attention. masslive.com/redsox/2026/02…

Comments here from Varitek, whose game planning is well noted, on the fact that some teams currently field bad game calling bat first catchers. Don't think, given the level of Red Sox prior planning, this is something that's happening in their dugout this season.

The key point Triston Casas knows, despite the injuries, is that the work he puts in, completely committed to his process, hasn’t been reflected in on-field productivity. He confident in his own talent and ability. It's admirable that he owns this mindset. masslive.com/redsox/2026/02…

Described as erratic but Oviedo was 8-for-9 throwing first-pitch strikes, a foundational piece of the org’s pitching philosophy under Bailey et al. Something to take with him as he builds up through March. Focus is on refining his command and control. masslive.com/redsox/2026/02…

The arboreal info I needed from Sonny Gay on his love of trees on the most recent Baseball Isn’t Boring . Really into nature and being outside. This is a guy I’m finding out more about finally. This is the stuff I want to know about sports figures.
