Posted temperatures around the ballpark yesterday. Unfortunately we have got burnt literally by a turf square, our BP protection, and a Tee. The turf square and tee were out there for short periods. Things that you don’t think will bite, will definitely bite you in the ass.

The homestand of tarp pulls, shoulder dislocation, thunderstorms. First time in my career during a game, the tarp got stuck while pulling which causing a game to get banged. My shoulder lost the battle with the tarp. Really proud of our crew to get the field ready next day.

Went to hang out with Lynchburg Hillcats grounds crew tonight. Unfortunately the rain followed me!

Banana Ball weekend has come and gone. As a GK it brings different challenges than normal operations. The field held up really well to the dancing, flipping, trucks, VIP events. My son worked the series with us and he got opportunities that he will never forget.
