It really is. He always saw his children as his personal property; extensions of himself, not individual humans. No doubt he does not see this as a young man making his own way in the world, but as the deepest of betrayals.

Of all Rhodes’ comeuppances — from federal prison time, to his wannabe militia falling apart, to national humiliation — this must be the sweetest for Tasha Adams, who had to deal with the man, and his unhinged ways, for years.
