Alabama’s law enforcement officers put their lives on the line each time they report for duty. The Legislature honored our officers and thanked their families during the Law Enforcement Medal of Honor Ceremony. In Alabama, officers receive respect and prayers of protection.

Among my most important duties as Lieutenant Governor is serving the needs of active military members, veterans, and their families. Alabama is the #2 state veterans choose to live in when they retire, and Vets Recover will help ensure veterans have access to the care they need.

North Alabama is experiencing record growth, and DeKalb County is taking advantage of the momentum. Leaders from DeKalb County and I met to discuss our pro-business agenda focusing on workforce development that will help businesses grow and provide good jobs to Alabamians.
