Yesterday, the State Controlling Board approved of over $1.6 million for the 91st district. Those funds include money to our communities through the CARES Act, funds for the Pike Co. Board of Developmental Disabilities and funds to support the Pike Co. Capital Case.

BUSINESS FAIRNESS ACT: after Governor Mike DeWine's address to Ohioans, GOP Rep. Shane State Senator Shane Wilkin and Rep. Jon Cross are pushing to pass HB 621 by next week. They say it would allow *any* business that can meet safety standards to remain open (bars/restaurants are a question).

Rep. Shane State Senator Shane Wilkin says he's calling hospitals to verify whether they are becoming overrun by COVID-19 cases, which is the reasoning behind Governor Mike DeWine's latest orders and possible business shutdowns.

Good news! The Ohio House today passed the Business Fairness Act! Thank you to everyone who voted in support of the bill. Let’s keep Ohio businesses, big and small, open for business.

This morning, I voted to bring Senate Bill 311 to the House floor for a vote during this afternoon’s session. SB 311 protects our communities by limiting the power the Department of Health has over us. I look forward to voting “yes” on SB 311 during session today at 1:00 p.m.
