Little 'Ice' is lucky to be alive😥.

Though with good intentions, Ice’s finders attempted a reunite, however Ice was left out all-night without a heat source. We cannot stress enough, how important it is to contact your local rescue, before attempting to reunite any animal.

Last year, we shared the heart-breaking video of a tawny owl entangled in barbed wire fencing. We are saddened to share, this week, both this owl (pictured) and a barn owl have suffered irreparable injuries after becoming caught in security wire. 😣

Poor Gator… 🦊🧡

Working with wildlife, there’s rarely a dull day; our vet team takes on the role of detective, to solve nature's mysteries and diagnose patients.

This feral pigeon arrived covered head to toe in red paint. How did she end up like this, we hear you ask, well... we have no idea!

At this time of year, with the additional stress of defending their territories, mates and resources, our foxes can have a tough time fending off parasites.

So, for 'Richie', suffering with an injury to his front right leg, it's no surprise that mange has also become an issue.

On Wed, 28 Feb, we’re teaming up with our partners at Wildlife Aid for a litter picking event in Leatherhead. Our volunteers are also raising funds in support of WAF’s mission. All proceeds will support their new Wildlife Aid Centre. To contribute, visit: bit.ly/3vPLWSl

This poor fox has been on quite the journey... 25 miles to be exact! He was discovered in a car engine after the caller had travelled 25 miles to his destination😬.

We don't think anyone could blame poor 'Chef' for trying to ditch the winter blues by sneaking into someone’s kitchen.

Missing more than half of his fur, 'Chef' has obviously got a bad case of mange.

He’ll be with us for a few weeks whilst he recovers 🦊🧡

This poor black-headed gull arrived looking more like a red-headed gull.

We have had a variety of species in, over the last few weeks, showing that it isn't just our common species that struggle at this time of year. Give them all hope this winter.
