Last paper out by our PhD student Sebastian in the ISPRS Journal. He demonstrated that Mask R-CNN using multispectral imagery trained with the tree-labels generated through lidar-based methods yielded 18 % better results than those of baseline methods. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

In July we went on a department trip to Viechtach where we went #canoeing on the Regen that crosses a landscape often referred to as #BavarianCanada. 🌲🌲🌳 We had great fun and enjoyed this unique #teambuilding experience in the best summer weather. ☀️
