The Commissioners Court approved the FY26 General Fund Budget in the amount of $401,201,232, the FY26 Road and Bridge Budget of $78,523,221 and the FY26 Debt Service Budget for $222,704,539.

The Commissioners Court adopted a total county tax rate for tax year 2025 at $0.413766 per $100 valuation. This rate will increase annual property taxes on the average homestead residence by approximately $122.
