I'm very happy to share that our collaborative study between Department Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy FU Berlin and Stefan Mundlos & Melvin C Bicomong is finally published online iScience journal. cell.com/iscience/fullt… We show the mechano-dependency of BMP9 SMAD-signaling in the vasculature. #BMP #ATACseq #genomics #vasculature

Within our study, where we used Halo-tagged BMP/TGFβ receptors for quantification of cell surface ligand binding, we compared BMP9 binding to different Teleost ALK1 receptors. Interestingly, BMP9 binding was not similar, but signaling was. #science #DALLE3 nature.com/articles/s4200…
