It was a joy to be part of the unveiling of a memorial to the soldiers of the 5th Manchester Regiment, local to Wigan. The memorial is on the former site of the Drill Hall where the Pals would have joined up before they bore arms to protect our country. @wigancouncil Wigan Tourism Board
