A brilliant start to the simulation skills series for medical SHO’s in UHW, todays sessions focused on ultrasound guided thoracocentesis with two excellent SpRs leading the sessions-Donal O’Malley and Cara Gill, thanks Dara Byrne and ICAPSS for the technical support!

We switched from postgrad to undergrad interdisciplinary gerontological sim today- 2nd year nursing and final year medical students worked effectively together to treat a PD patient with delirium. Great work 👏Thanks again to Mallow General Hospital for lending us smots™ equipment!
