Reflecting back on 2024 highlights, I was thrilled to part of developing and delivering content for this program, and also being able to interact with safety management, and other leaders from around the country!

I just ran through this class over the last few nights on MasterClass. It's absolutely fantastic! Worth the price of the "discounted" subscription for all their classes. Also, between his book Co-Intelligence, this class, YouTube videos and LinkeIn posts, I've learned a ton

Another week-long trip to IL done. The changes to my program and the loss WI Center has changed the nature of my work & partners. For the better? In some respects, LOTS of new friends and research colleagues. But it's come with some major costs. Direct and opportunity costs.

I cannot think of a more interesting thing than to work on agricultural issues in DC these next four years. It's gonna be a wild, wooly, unpredictable roller coaster. thehill.com/opinion/504137…

Btw. No I’m not going to work in DC. I would if I could but I can’t so I won’t. Spent a full week there 12 years ago reviewing the specialty crop initiative (SCRI) working directly with the NIFA director at the time. Longest year of my life. Paid well like 6 bucks an hour.

If I had access to this information and the book written by the guest on this podcast, 17 years ago, maybe I would still be in administration today. 😉 open.spotify.com/episode/3ShyzX…

Was checking out weekly crop report to assist my Mom in NW Indiana on corn condition - I note no new "Weekly" reports online since the end of May.... Any idea why? Or did they get doge'd? nass.usda.gov/Statistics_by_…

How do you teach pesticide applicators about stress and safety? With a play. “Stressticide” reached 6,000+ people across multiple states and sparked a follow-up program, “Farm Alarm,” that hit 38 states. Here’s the story of how it all started. linkedin.com/pulse/old-scho…

Moving USDA from of DC. How's that going to work for ag politically? It seems when a legislator needs information or an idea, staff can be over at a hearing or in a nearby leg. office in a matter of minutes. If they are in Raleigh or Salt Lake City or Indy, that ain't gonna work.
