Car pollution isn’t just tailpipe emissions. It’s tiny particles of brake and tire that work their way deep into the lungs causing illness and disease. The biggest contributor to air pollution in cities is automobile traffic. Reducing it is a powerful public health intervention.

Just going to continue emphasizing that this, detaining a bunch of people who haven’t been convicted of a crime and incarcerating them en masse in a fortified location against their will because they are part of a specific ethnicity or other group, is a concentration camp

This is actually very disturbing. This false resurrection of extinct species, this "de-extintion" by corporations, cheapens the plight of endangered species. Governments would like nothing more than to get rid of endangered species lists so they don´t get in the way. This is bad.

“The Endangered Species List has become like the Hotel California: once a species enters, they never leave.” Hmm, I wonder why that could be? *swaths of land still being destroyed without care? ✅ *awful ranching and farming practices?✅ *some of the worst water management? ✅

A Earth Day reminder that cities hold the key to saving the planet. When we live close to each other, we consume fewer resources and emit less pollution per capita. If we grow inward instead of outward, we can build wealth and community while preserving our precious wild places.

Seeing these images, I find myself thinking about how tiny Gaza is. You could drive the length of it in half an hour, and walk across its widest point in two. And into this they poured several nuclear bombs worth of explosives, then sent bulldozers to finish off what’s left.

Was watching a bee pollinate and saw it trip over a petal and fall down the plant, hitting like five leaves. Really awesome. Putting the bumble in bumblebee
