Sharing again. Cannot believe that we allow this to continue to happen to our children. Our government officials continue to fail us, and unfortunately, one party in particular.

#HappyDoctorsDay I am truly so fortunate to work with the most amazing group of physicians in Peds Heme/Onc at UPMC Children's Hosp Pittsburgh. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them and our patients are in the very best hands in their care! Also…peep the CBC (cookie blood cells) of appreciation 👇🏼👇🏼

Congrats, Amy!!! It’s really incredible getting to work with Amy clinically. She truly goes the extra mile in all that she does and is so deserving of this award!

Backorder of multiple dosages of #Hydroxyurea 🤦🏽‍♀️ Still dealing with #Penicillin shortage in #Indiana😖 Using term “backorder” instead of “shortage” prevents action by U.S. FDA to make manufacturers fix the problem. 😡 People w/ #sicklecelldisease deserve better from all of us.

So grateful that I got to work with Dr. Colleen Mathews during her PHO fellowship. This plant with the initials of all of our shared patients over the last 3 years was the most thoughtful gift 🥺 She’s simply the best and I’m THRILLED she’s staying with us as faculty!

After dedicating 20hrs last weekend to homework for a single class, I’m pleased to announce I received the lowest grade on my assignment that I’ve received on anything since high school all because I submitted it on time, as opposed to ahead of schedule 🫠

We have the technology to mute a meeting attendee. This leads me to believe we have the technology to turn off their camera, as well, yet here we are letting people accidentally turn their phone camera on and having no way to help them out before something mortifying happens
