Y9 Celebrating the end of their Careers Art Project creating digital art from their own drawings and abstract card sculptures using Adobe Photoshop building up experience with layers, painting and filters. There are some fabulous outcomes!

Our Literature Festival is off to a great start with the help from the fabulous 1623 theatre company Photo of Year 9 getting involved in a workshop this morning. 🎭

Yesterday afternoon as part of our Lit Fest we had a comic and manga event with expert Mel Gibson and cartoonist Graham Dury. Some fabulous work produced.

Yesterday we welcomed Ann Cleeves to talk about her books and the process of writing a murder mystery. The wonderful 1623 theatre company also performed Macbeth to Yr 9 and visited Whitley Lodge First School with a workshop themed around A Midsummer Night's Dream.

A huge well done to the year 13 Chemistry students who took part in Round 1 of the International Chemistry Olympiad competition. All of our students taking part scored highly enough to achieve either a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate.🥇🥈🥉
