We continue to spotlight Food Waste Prevention Week and thought we’d share some simple tips you can do at home. A modest commitment can make a big difference. This week alone WPE recovered 44,639 pounds of food and saved 67.8 tons of greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere!

You should have seen the sea of smiles at WPE when a volunteer team from Schwab helped process over 5,000 healthy meals and prepped for an upcoming baby boutique! Our friends from Charles Schwab Corp rallied with enthusiasm and put love into action on behalf of our neighbors.

WPE was OVER THE MOON to participate in Nourishing Neighbors 10-year celebration yesterday! They supplied a DELICIOUS cake and in true WPE fashion: nothing was wasted! Thank you, we look forward to 10 more years in partnership – creating nutrition security FOR ALL!
