Y3 explored storytelling through sculpture! Inspired by Dirty Beasts they marbled paper with 'Brusho' then used it as a Base for their plasticine characters. Sketchbooks helped them turn words into 3D art, just like artists Rosie Hurley & Inbal Leitner. #ArtEd #wpsart #AccessArt

Year 1 created colourful mackerel art! Using oil pastels, they designed their own fish based on real mackerel markings, then made vibrant plates using felt pens. A fun and creative one-off project: "Thou Shalt Have a Fishy on a Little Dishy"! #ArtEd #Helloroscreates #wpsart

Year 6 had their final science lesson today and completed an escape room on circulation along with some rainbow neutralisation reactions #wpsscience

Whole school assembly today on ‘screen safety’ and how we can look after ourselves when using laptops, tablets and other devices with screens. We discussed body and screen positions and taking breaks. Nice to see some children changing screen positions in lesson after break 🤩.

Year 5 created stunning, colourful artwork inspired @sallyannefitterartist silver birch trees! They scraped acrylic paint for vibrant backgrounds and explored mark making. The trees were added using the same technique with black & white paint. #wpsart #sallyannefitter
