All in all, a heroic win. You don’t get much out of referees on these summer tours, to dig that win out is outstanding work. Huge credit to Farrell. I don’t think anyone called Osborne at 15 but how good was he today? L’homme du match.

Not sure I could be any happier for Frawley. Amazing skills and the grubber down the line was also crucial to set up the platform to win it. Also, we were down to our third and fourth choice 9s, but how good was Murray? Another huge contribution to a gold-plated career.

I was running around outside a French bar in Saint Martin De Re going bananas and when I came back in the referee was - of course - checking for an obstruction that wasn’t. Genuine question: did the SA players appeal for that to be checked?
