After the fiasco with The Prism, we know the tower here is never going to go ahead, so how long will we have to wait for the developers to sell it before it crumbles further?

We were delighted to be nominated for the 2025 Lord Mayor Community and Voluntary Awards and to win in the Climate Action, Active Travel and Sustainable Development category. Well done also to nominees Blackpool Tidy Village Group and Ballyphehane Community Association. #cork

Our (and your!) feedback is working - consultation is important, and it is highly necessary that the Cork Luas is done correctly from the start! m.independent.ie/regionals/cork…

What If Cork Those also have shards of glasses sticking out along the edges of where the windows once were. Absolutely lethal if any kid grabbed onto them or if someone fell into them. They are an eyesore and a danger & Eir+council should be ashamed leaving them in that state on our main st.

Does anyone have a name for this Cork bigot, if so please message me. He harassed some Palestinian protesters in Cork today and threatened to return with a 'few lads' to sort them out. Disgusting behaviour.

An 'objector' (in this instance) is basically an ordinary citizen/s noticing that the state is making unlawful decisions and deciding to do something about it. That was four years ago by the way. #cork echolive.ie/corknews/arid-…

Writing in the Irish Independent this morning about the urgency of implementing a road safety strategy that can save lives on Irish roads. 91 people dead so far this year and hundreds more left with life changing injuries. Where is the courage and leadership we need to see?

Thanks Joe O'Shea for reporting the new 90-minute fares and (soon 🤞) tag-on boarding for Cork city bus services. Both are the first taste of BusConnects for commuters in the city — speeding up boarding times and reducing cost. corkbeo.ie/news/local-new…
