Hollies Class have began their morning sharing POWer projects from home. A great was to collect points for our House Teams!

Bluebell Class have had a super start to school! 🌟 They are settling well into their new routines and are already showing such enthusiasm for learning. 👏

⚽️⚽️⚽️ Some fantastic outside school achievements I’ve heard about recently. Firstly well done to this Y3 pupil who has recently began playing for Walmley Colron Football Club U8’s, he introduced himself by scoring a hat-trick & picked up player of the match too 👏🏻 Mr S

🏐🏐🏐 A huge congratulations to this netball star in Y5 who was playing in the ENG Sports UK U10’s Premier league. The top competition in the country! Not only did she help her team win their 2 matches, she was named in the team of the week 👏🏻 Mr S

🤾‍♀️ YR 6 DODGEBALL🤾‍♂️ We had lots of fun at the annual dodgeball event at BV this evening. Both teams made some great catches, throws & the teamwork was brilliant 👏🏻 I’d say it was honours even between 6J & 6W. 6J had the best record but 6W came out on top in the WG derby 😂 Mr S

⚽️BOYS FOOTBALL⚽️ Well done to the boys who won their first league game of the season this afternoon with a great display against a very competitive Hill West team. Thanks to Mr Clarke and the boys for a great game & all the supporters who encouraged both teams 👏🏻 Mr S

Year 5 performed a fabulous Harvest celebration today at Emmanuel Church Singing, speaking and dancing with so much confidence and pride!

As part of Black History Month, Year 5 are learning about Lenny Henry We are finding out about his life and achievements and also reading one of his books - The Book of Legends

Thank you to our parent reader who read the story called Oi Dinosaurs! to Bluebell Class this afternoon. The children really enjoyed it and had lots to talk about afterwards. 📕

Hollies class have enjoyed creating their very own ‘Old Toy Museum’. They have been exploring artefacts and making peg dolls.

Longmoor class really enjoyed visiting our new school library and exploring the wonderful books. 📚

The children in Bluebell Class have shown wonderful independent learning this week. They’ve enjoyed leaf rubbing, creating repeated patterns and are beginning to build CVC words. 🎨🧮📚

A fabulous model of Sutton Coldfield Town Hall!

Year 5 carried out some fantastic fieldwork today. They took a range of measurements of the jungle gym. Next week, they will use these to create detailed scaled maps including contour lines.
