I love surprises! Built K6ARK's Tiny 49:1 Balun (unun) Kit (an easy 30-minute build) and not only does it do 40m, 20m, 10m using a single piece of ~ 67' wire! But it also does 15m a great band that's been hot lately with DX!! No tuner, traps or links to mess with! YES! 😁

Fun day on Mt Herman ...snowpacked/icy trail but micro spikes were the ticket to the summit and 43-Chaser QSOs including some DX Chris/F4WBN France, Lars/SA4BLM Sweden and Mike/DJ5AV Germany! Totally an Awesome day! 😁 Thank You All!

TX500 is a FUN ride! Maybe just a bit overkill when you consider my MTRs can do the same job (but CW only) for less weight and expen$e. However you can never own too many QRP radios! 🤣😎🐐

Ray/KD8EQA searches Saturday's busy 20m for S2Ss (Summit-to-Summit) contacts with his KX2 to EFHW antenna. Ray's VHF Arrow elements to trekking conversion (KB1HQS's idea 3D-printed clamps) worked well for snagging 2m QSOs from an isolated summit!

QRP Fishing! Tiny bass but still a “fish-on!” fight & fun! Teased ‘em out from under a rock with Tenkara mini rod + redtail Elk hair caddis fly in an in town creek that I thought was fish-less. Yah just never know? 🤷‍♂️ returned him so I can re-catch in few years 😉

Cooler today fishing at dawn with only just a few nibbles, Ø hookups? ...But I scored (picked up) 2-bags of trash from around the lake and was privileged to witness this remarkable sunrise!!😊
