🚨 The number of children at risk of acute malnutrition in #SouthSudan has surged to 2.3 million—up from 2.1 million earlier this year. Conflict, disease, and displacement are driving an unprecedented nutrition crisis across the country.

In Ukraine, World Food Programme supports over 1M people every month––mostly near the frontlines of the war. Funding shortfalls will force us to cut assistance for hundreds of thousands who rely on us. $286M is urgently needed to keep food & hope flowing through 2025.

After losing her home and animals, Larysa and her husband returned to Kamyanka in #Ukraine's Kharkiv region to rebuild. Through a joint WFP, Food and Agriculture Organization, and FSD (Fondation suisse de déminage) project, her land was demined. She now has the access and tools to grow tomatoes again and restart her life. 🍅💙

WFP has been able to dispatch just 9,000 metric tons of food aid inside #Gaza since 19 May - less than one day’s worth of food for everyone for over four weeks. WFP is ready to scale up. We need more access and better conditions to safely do our jobs. The time to act is NOW.
