Thursday is a WFAA Weather Alert Day. Storms are expected during the afternoon. A few of those storms could contain large hail and strong winds. A slight (level 2/5) risk is in place for much of North Texas including DFW. Not everyone sees storms. #wfaaweather

After Thursday, the next round of rain arrives late Sunday into Memorial Day. The severe weather threat looks low, but keep checking in for the timing. Temps drop from the 90s on Saturday/Sunday to the 80s on Monday. #wfaaweather

1:20pm update: Currently, one severe thunderstorm is in North Texas. The storm is in Cooke Co, but moving into Grayson Co. Storm is moving southeast at 35 mph and could contain quarter size hail and gusty winds. The rest of North Texas is clear. #wfaaweather

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in place for parts of North Texas including Collin, Denton, Wise, and Hunt Counties until 4pm. This means that storms can quickly turn severe with quarter size hail or larger and 60+ mph wind gusts. #wfaaweather
